Training sites

Cardiology fellows get a broad variety of training that combines all aspects of General Cardiology. Given the excellent location in Midtown and the County Designation of Detroit Receiving Hospital, fellows will be exposed to the entire gamut of patient care. In addition to General Cardiology, the presence of Hutzel Women's Hospital and Karmanos Cancer Institute provide cardiac pathology that is not readily availble at many cardiology fellowships at the primary site of training. Fellows will routinely receive consults for not only bread and butter ischemic cardiomyopathy but also post-partum cardiomyopathy and fetal arrhythmias providing a well rounded teaching environment.

All training sites are connected via underground tunnels or just across the street.
