Dr. Mazhar Khan graduated with honors from Kiev Medical Institute in Ukraine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania, where he also completed fellowship training in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. Later on he finished an advanced fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Washington Hospital Center, in the District of Columbia. Dr. Khan previously served as a staff electrophysiologist at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and fluent in English, Russian and Urdu.

As a cardiologist, Dr. Khan diagnoses and treats disorders of the heart and blood vessels. He specializes in treating a variety of heart rhythm disorders as well as device-based therapies.
